Amman, June 25 (Petra)-- Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Yarub Qudah, on Thursday inaugurated the Jordan Test Drive Festival (JTDF) at King Hussein Business Park in Amman.
The three-day event, organized by the Jordanian Association of Automotive Dealers and Distributors in cooperation with Al Jisr Media Consultancy, brings together 20 car dealerships representing some of the Kingdom's leading automotive brands.
The festival continues on Friday and Saturday at King Hussein Business Park, welcoming visitors daily from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
During a tour of the exhibition, Qudah visited the participating companies' pavilions and viewed the latest vehicle models and technologies available on the Jordanian market.
The minister praised the high level of organization and the strong participation, underscoring the importance of the automotive sector in supporting economic activity. He also highlighted the sector's continued growth and diversification in meeting consumers' evolving needs.
Zaid Al-Abdallat, Secretary-General of the Jordan Automotive Dealers Association (JADA), said the festival reflects the vitality of Jordan's automotive market and demonstrates the availability of vehicles that comply with the Kingdom's highest approved standards and specifications.
He added that the festival's official patronage reflects the success of recent government measures and decisions aimed at regulating the automotive market and improving the business environment. These efforts, he said, have strengthened consumer protection by ensuring access to manufacturer-backed warranties and reliable after-sales services.
For his part, Falah Al-Saghir CEO of Bridges PR & Communications, said the festival serves as an interactive platform bringing together automotive dealers and the public in one venue.
He noted that the event offers visitors the opportunity to test-drive the latest vehicle models in a safe environment designed in accordance with the highest safety standards.
Al-Saghir added that the participation of 20 dealerships underscores the festival's growing status as one of Jordan's premier automotive events.
